Inaugurated in 1998 as a private club, El Club Allard conserves its sophisticated style since its opening to the general public in 2007. Since then, it has become one of Madrid’s most prestigious gourmet temples.
El Club Allard’s facilities are located in a splendid building with a Modernist style, the famous “Casa Gallardo”, designed by Federico Arias Rey and inaugurated in 1908. Situated on Calle Ferraz nº2 and the corner of Plaza de España, the Egyptian Debod Temple can be seen in front of the building and behind it, there is the Cerralbo Museum and the Liria Palace (The Duchess of Alba Residence). A lovely setting for a unique restaurant.
In charge of the kitchen since 2002, the brilliant young Chef from Alava, Diego Guerrero fills El Club Allard with his magic. In November 2007, El Club Allard premiered its first Michelin Star. In 2011, El Club Allard was awarded its second star, which has earned Diego Guerrero fame as one of the most acclaimed Chefs of Spanish cuisine.
